How to use this site
This is the process of explaining what the steps are to add material, comments, etc. It starts with “baby steps” by having interested parties ask questions about how they can participate and then having those questions answered by examples that are included in different pages under this category (How to use this site).
The first lesson is contained in the listing: The 5 W’s and 1 “H” which is a reprint of the YWA article in the Spring 2009 newsletter by the same name. It explains the 6 points of information needed to cover an event journalistically.
Other steps are How to send in pictures you’d like other artists to see as the news pages rotate. the procedure is outlined HERE:
If you comment on the info contained in Sierra Mountain View, the first time you leave a comment, it has to be approved by me so that I can tell you are not a spammer. After I recognize that you are a real person, then our site will remember who you are and let you comment without checking in again. If you get the “hang” of that, you might be up for creating a thumbnail photo (also called a “Gravatar”) that you can use on Sierra Mountain View and other sites on the web. These are fun to have and it feels like you are visiting friends online. To find out more, CLICK HERE:
