Jerome Grimmer Paints Again!
2010 August 15
Using the four seasons as a focal point to learn how atmosphere can enliven your paintings has proven an effective and stimulating method of helping painters at all levels of accomplishment. I have discovered new ways of making creative color both understandable and pleasurable. Additionally, there have been requests for specific instruction on putting the human figure in paintings. For those who wish to add that skill to their repertoire, we will cover the principles involved and provide stimulating exercises and opportunities for including figures in your regular weekly assignments. Even beginners are able to grasp the ideas presented and create convincing paintings right from the start.Classes will last ten weeks, beginning in Oakhurst on Thursday, September 9, and in Fresno on Monday, September 13. All levels of experience are welcome to join. Tuition is $30.00 per class, payable monthly. $270.00 (10% discount) when paid in full at registration.
Fresno classes will again be held Mondays at the Door Gallery, southwest corner of Marks and Bullard. Oakhurst classes will take place Thursdays at a new location: the Elks Lodge, west side of Highway 41 at Bass Lake Road (Rd. 222). To view the complete info.
