Killin' Time

The Mariposa County Arts Council, along with our many fine sponsors, continue the 2010 season of Cousin Jack’s Mariposa Evenings on Friday, August 13th with KILLIN’ TIME; and presents THE ADAM BURNS BAND on Saturday, August 14th.

Killin’ Time perform country western music in the honky-tonk style of the genre, relying on the pedal steel guitar and twangy vocals to deliver their classic country covers of artists like Merle Haggard, George Jones, Hank Williams, George Strait, and others.

Adam Burns Band

Combining rock, ska and eastern European influences, The Adam Burns Band creates music that is both energetic and richly melodic. Their exciting shows and recordings featuring Adam’s original songs (and some from violinist Kristin Ramsey) have earned the band a devoted following. To find out more go to www.adamburnsband.com.
