CALL TO ACTION – Painter’s Gallery for YWA
Painting at the Gertrude Schoolhouse, a weekly group on Fridays is going to be featured on the Yosemite Western Artists website with THEIR OWN GALLERY of examples of their work. Larry Potter will assist in collecting samples from the folks who attend and he will be coordinating with Mark Heliger, Dave Hoffman and others in the YWA to give these folks some recognition for their artistic endeavors.
We are “penciling in” a date of August 15th to have the artists contribute their initial submissions. As more work is collected, we’ll be able to add that to the gallery. Here is a sample from an April sitting.
For more information, you can email Larry Potter or David Hoffman or even that bothersome Mark Heliger. (Leave Rita out of this, she said it was “OK.”)
The historic Gertrude Schoolhouse is on Road 600 about 1/2 mile off of Hwy 49 in Ahwahnee. The painting session is open to everyone and starts at 9:30 AM and goes till 12:30. Come a little early for a better painting spot.

Great idea!!
I’ll gather some of my more successful paintings and send them to you, Mark.
Thanks,
Vicki Thomas
