The Mariposa County Arts Council, along with our many fine sponsors, continues the 2010 season of Cousin Jack’s Mariposa Evenings with MARIPOSA RHED & THE WILDCATS – the “mother-lode of classic rock” cover band – on Friday, July 30^th. On Saturday, July 31^st we present SMILEY MOUNTAIN – experts at playing and singing traditional and contemporary bluegrass/gypsy music – a perennial favorite at Mariposa Evenings.

All performances for Mariposa Evenings will be held at the Mariposa County Arts Park, located on Hwy. 140, between 4^th and 5^th Streets, in downtown Mariposa.  There is ample, free parking on 5^th Street, just a pleasant stroll along the Creek Walkway to the park, which will also provide handicap access.  Tips are encouraged and appreciated.  Each performance will begin at 7:00 pm.  Mariposa Evenings is made available through generous donations by local businesses, which are featured in our Mariposa Evenings program.    Please bring a lawn chair or blanket for park seating.
